From 1 February 2023, bariatric patients can also call on the Doctor Dejeu team in Cluj-Napoca. The most sought-after bariatric surgery team in Romania, with more than 2,000 operations per year, will be available in full formula and will provide medical services dedicated to obesity and metabolic surgery at Medlife Humanitas Hospital.

Currently, the team founded by surgeons Viorel and Danut Dejeu is active in Bucharest, Oradea, Arad and Sibiu, in the Medlife network. In addition, through video and audio calls, specialists offer remote consultation to patients throughout Romania and beyond. The decision to reach Cluj-Napoca came naturally, as a result of the increasing demand from patients living here or in the surrounding areas:

Doctor Dejeu’s team will offer, for patients in Cluj-Napoca, the full range of obesity surgery and appropriate psychological and nutritional support, as well as less invasive solutions, such as the gastric balloon that does not require surgery, anesthesia or endoscopy, a medical device for which the team has exclusivity in Romania.
